TOSHIBA VTR Integrated DVD Recorder D-VR5

### Editorial Review of Toshiba VTR DVD DVR The Toshiba VTR DVD DVR has garnered a mixed reception among customers, primarily focusing on its utility for converting VHS tapes to DVD format. Many users appreciate that even with its older model, the device functions without major issues, allowing them to accomplish their tape-to-digital projects. The simplicity of use has been highlighted in several reviews, with individuals noting that the unit is easy to operate even for those who are not particularly tech-savvy. However, the product's user experience is marred by significant concerns regarding the lack of a remote control. Several customers expressed disappointment upon discovering that the remote was not included with the purchase, leading to frustrations as they felt misled. This absence negatively impacted their experience, with some opting to purchase a remote separately. Additionally, while the primary function of dubbing VHS to DVD generally works well, there are reports of varying success rates in the DVD performance, with some users noting that while VHS playback is fine, the DVD recording doesn't respond as expected. Overall, although the device provides value for its core functionality, the lack of accessories and inConsistent performance for DVD playback detracts from its overall appeal. ####
