    Answer: This lobby phone is perfect for that purpose. You can set up the phone line with the telephone company to automatically redirect to a telephone number of your choice once the phone is picked up.
  • Question: Is this compatible with voip?

    Answer: I found out the hard way that this is an analog phone and will not work with Voice Over IP (voip)
  • Question: Does the ringer have volume control?

    Answer: It didn’t work on the phone we bought. Returned for that reason and still haven’t gotten my credit

    Answer: We ordered this for a resident in the community who needed a non-dial out phone. The cord length is standard. I'm unsure about the head set volume control. I hope this was helpful.

The phone also has a large red light that lights up while ringing. However, it is important to note that this is an analog phone and not compatible with Voice Over IP (voip). Also, the phone may not be durable enough for some residents with advanced dementia who like to take things apart.
