The Le Creuset 13 Quart Dutch Oven is a great addition to any kitchen. This pot can hold a 5 lb pot roast or 5-6 lb chicken comfortably along with some veggies. It can be used in the oven up to 480°F / 250°C, though it was made in China, not France as some may expect from Le Creuset. The pot itself is 6” tall and 13 ¾” wide, with a 13 ½ inch base. The lid is exactly 14 ¼ inches wide and the pot with lid on is 9 inches high from the bottom of the pot to the top of the lid handle. The 13 ¼ qt pot is quite heavy when empty, weighing 21.3 lbs. With a few flaws in evenly heating the bottom, this pot still provides excellent quality and attention to detail with superb cooking capabilities.
