Fender Electronics 0992251000 Editorial Review
The Fender 5-Position StratTele Super Switch is a four-pole switch that offers more wiring options, such as out of phase, series, parallel, and split coil. It can create just about any wiring scenario, but the user needs to design the wiring scheme before starting. The switch can be used with Fishman Tosin Abasi Signature Pickups and can also create fake humbuckers in position 2 and 4 for an HSH Strat. The switch is compatible with Squier Bullet HSS Strat, and is the same switch used in the American Deluxe with S1 switch. It is a good quality part, easy to install, and has heavy silver plated contacts. Some users had issues with receiving a used switch with soldering iron marks. Overall, it is a great part that offers a lot of wiring options.
