Crocheting Editorial Review
Crochet Donut Buddies is a perfect book for crocheters looking to create colorful, cute and lovable collectible toys. The step-by-step directions are easy to follow, but it is recommended for intermediate or more experienced crocheters. The book contains 50 patterns with a wide range of cute and fun animals, including turtles, aliens, and other creatures. The base pattern is the same for all donuts with variations in the accessories, icing and additional crocheting on top. With a little bit of guesswork required, the book also includes pages of techniques and optional accessories patterns to make unique critters. Recommendations include using safety eyes for young children, and be mindful of some mistakes in the instructions. Overall, this book is a great addition for crochet enthusiasts and perfect for stash busting, quick gifts for baby showers, kid birthdays, and farmer markets.
