Customer Questions & Answers

Question:
What are the main benefits of using the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover for Honda Prelude?
Answer: The DashMat Original Dashboard Cover provides essential protection for your Honda Prelude's dashboard from UV rays and heat, which can cause cracking and fading. Made from premium carpet material, it not only adds a stylish look to your interior but also reduces glare on the windshield, enhancing driving visibility. Additionally, it helps maintain a cooler cabin temperature by reflecting sunlight. For those who want to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their vehicle while preserving its value, this dashboard cover is an excellent choice. -
Question:
Will the DashMat cover fit all models of Honda Prelude?
Answer: Yes, the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover is specifically designed to fit perfectly in all models of the Honda Prelude. Each cover is precision-cut to match the exact dimensions and contours of the vehicle's dashboard, ensuring a tailored fit. This means that installation is straightforward, requiring no modifications or alterations. Whether you own an older or newer model of the Prelude, this cover will seamlessly blend into your car's interior, providing both protection and style. -
Question:
Is the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover easy to install?
Answer: Absolutely, the installation process for the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward. The cover comes with Velcro attachments that securely hold it in place without the need for adhesives, which can leave residue. Simply clean your dashboard, position the cover correctly, and attach the Velcro as per the included instructions. This allows you to enhance your car's interior quickly, making it an ideal solution for those looking to protect their dashboard without professional help. -
Question:
How does the DashMat Original help in reducing dashboard glare?
Answer: The DashMat Original is designed with functionality in mind, particularly in minimizing dashboard glare. The material used reflects light, thereby preventing it from bouncing off the dashboard surface into the driver’s eyes. This is particularly beneficial for those who often drive in sunny conditions. By reducing glare, it not only improves visibility while driving but also creates a more comfortable and safer driving experience. If you frequently encounter bright sunlight when driving your Honda Prelude, this cover is a wise investment. -
Question:
What colors are available for the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover?
Answer: The DashMat Original Dashboard Cover is available in several colors to match your personal aesthetic and vehicle interior. While the premium black carpet option provides a timeless and sophisticated look, other shades may suit well with different color schemes. This versatility allows you to enhance your dashboard while maintaining harmony with your car’s overall design. If you're considering customization, you can choose a color that not only protects but also accentuates the interior of your Honda Prelude. -
Question:
Is the material of the DashMat Original durable?
Answer: Yes, the DashMat Original is made from high-quality, premium carpet material that is built to last. This durable construction helps resist wear and tear from sun exposure, heat, and moisture, ensuring it maintains its appearance over time. Moreover, the material is easy to clean and maintain, contributing to its longevity. It's particularly ideal for Honda Prelude owners who want to keep their dashboards looking fresh while also providing effective protection against environmental factors. -
Question:
Can the DashMat cover help with temperature control inside the car?
Answer: Yes, one of the benefits of the DashMat Original is its ability to help maintain a cooler temperature inside your Honda Prelude. By reflecting sunlight instead of absorbing it, the cover prevents your dashboard from getting too hot, which can, in turn, lower the overall temperature of the car's interior. This feature is particularly useful for those in warmer climates or for anyone who parks their vehicle in the sun frequently, helping to create a more comfortable environment. -
Question:
Does the DashMat Original affect the visibility of dashboard controls?
Answer: No, the DashMat Original is designed to not obstruct visibility of dashboard controls. The cover is precisely cut to accommodate dashboard features, ensuring that instrumentation, knobs, and other essential elements remain accessible and visible. This allows drivers to maintain functionality without sacrificing the protective benefits of the cover. This is especially important for Honda Prelude owners who want to enjoy both enhanced aesthetics and full usability of their dashboard. -
Question:
How do I clean the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover?
Answer: Cleaning the DashMat Original Dashboard Cover is simple. For routine maintenance, a vacuum or damp cloth can be used to remove dust and debris. If deeper cleaning is needed, you can use a mild detergent solution and gently scrub the surface with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the material's quality. By keeping your dashboard cover clean, you not only maintain its appearance but also extend its lifespan, contributing to a well-kept interior of your Honda Prelude. -
