cold steel Editorial Review
The Cold Steel Bird & Game 3.5" Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife has garnered a mix of opinions among its users, focusing primarily on the quality of the knife itself versus the design of its sheath. Many customers appreciate the knife's exceptional sharpness upon unboxing, with comments highlighting that it remains sharp and is easy to maintain with standard sharpening tools. Users have noted its lightweight design, making it comfortable for everyday carry, whether it’s being used as a neck knife or simply carried in a pocket, often forgetting that they have it with them. The knife's ergonomics have been praised as well, with a solid grip that fits comfortably in hand. This aspect has earned positive reviews from seasoned users who were initially hesitant due to previous experiences with poorly made sheaths. However, the new sheath design seems to be a significant drawback for some users, as they report difficulty in drawing the knife quickly, with a few mentioning near accidents while trying to disengage the blade from its sheath. This has led to a preference for previous sheath designs, which were perceived as safer and more user-friendly. Overall, customers are satisfied with the knife's performance and quality for the price point, while voicing significant concerns about the current sheath design. **
