Selle Italia Saddles SI510838 Editorial Review
The Selle Italia S5 Superflow Saddle has garnered enthusiasm from cyclists looking for a comfortable and reliable saddle at an affordable price point. Customers report a remarkable improvement in comfort compared to their previous saddles, noting significant padding that alleviates sit-bone pain while avoiding tissue rubbing. Many reviews highlight the saddle's effectiveness for various riding styles, with some users transitioning from more rigid racing saddles to the cushioned support of the S5. This transition has proven beneficial, with many expressing satisfaction after just a few rides, remarking on the balance of thickness in padding — providing ample support without feeling overly bulky. A few riders have expressed concerns about the longevity of the gel padding, but early indications suggest that the saddle maintains comfort levels, even after extended use. The saddle's design caters to a range of sit-bone measurements, and customers appreciate the tailored fit and ease of installation. Notably, users have found this saddle suitable for long rides even without padded cycling shorts, indicating its capability to deliver comfort across various cycling conditions. Overall, the Selle Italia S5 Superflow Saddle is highly regarded as a budget-friendly option that does not compromise on comfort or craftsmanship, making it a solid choice for both casual and dedicated cyclists. **
