The Arrowmax ACD35PTT-K2 Universal 2-Pin K1 to 3.5mm Audio Adapter has garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing its functionality while also highlighting a few notable drawbacks. Users appreciate the concept of the adapter as it allows them to utilize their own earbuds and headsets, enhancing comfort and convenience during use. The PTT (Push-To-Talk) feature has been generally effective; many users report that it operates well with good responsiveness. One user particularly noted the solid size and texture of the button, making it easy to activate. However, some customers faced significant issues with the PTT functionality. Some reported the button being finicky and prone to cutting off the transmission unexpectedly, which can interrupt communication during use. This inConsistency appears to be a common design flaw, similar to that found in many budget-friendly Kenwood/Baofeng headsets, where not all microphones, particularly those requiring phantom voltage, can be used effectively. The audio quality has also received mixed reviews. While several users have noted that the sound is loud and clear with compatible headsets, others mentioned distracting clicking sounds and significant noise at higher volumes, diminishing the overall listening experience. Users pointed out that the thin wires may also pose a durability risk, especially after repeated snags. In summary, the Arrowmax ACD35PTT-K2 presents a convenient solution for users of BTECH Kenwood radios but is not without its challenges. It serves well in certain scenarios, but potential buyers should Consider its limitations in audio quality and the reliability of its PTT feature. **
