This power strip has 8 outlets, 3 of which are always on and 1 serves as the master. When the device plugged to the master is turned on, the remaining 5 outlets are switched on. There are no other mode options. The little switch on the side changes the voltage required to start the master. Unfortunately, there is no reset button. However, it can be fixed by plugging the more finicky item(s) into the main outlet and sliding the switch to high. The power strip comes with a 1-year warranty, which might not be long enough for some. The master function works well with TVs and home audio systems. The strip takes a little while to shut off the other outlets once the master outlet is turned off. The power strip is a good option for those looking to save energy.
